8.5″ x 11″ is standard printer paper for those of you who didn’t already know.

I have a Dell Photo AIO924 printer that I carried back with me from abroad. I can’t seem to find anyplace to buy cartridges for this printer in India (specifically, Bangalore). The Dell India website has nothing about printers which leads me to suspect that they don’t sell (or service) printers in India. Is there any alternative to asking a friend to buy it abroad and send it back with someone?
Why does all my stuff prints out in purple, even though my printer is supposed to be a color printer? Is it the fault of my printer or of the ink? The ink is past its expiration date, but the ink I used this before this one did the same thing. Of course, that ink could have also been expired. My printer is one of those ancient ones that you have to manually feed paper to. Can anyone figure out if the strange color is because of the printer or the ink?

I’m helping a friend install a printer in his business. The computer runs on windows 98 but the drivers for the HP Officejet J5700 only go as low as windows 2000. Will the driver be compatible?

I am looking for a 11×17 printer. I came across the Ricoh Aficio Ap610N printer which seems perfect for my needs. One thing I have read about it, is that it only comes with one tray, while the picture always shows two (common). I know for sure (off of reviews) that the tray the printer comes with will do 11×17 prints, but will it also do other sizes? Is the tray it comes with adjustable, or is that the catch, to get you to buy the other tray for smaller prints?Submited by:Joshua S

I recently got given a secondhand Canon Pixma ip3000 printer, however the manual (bottom) feeder tray is missing. Any idea on where I can purchase a new one online?
Thanks in advance,

Here are the specs for my printer (bought in 2005):

Since switching from Windows XP to Ubuntu Linux (about three months ago), it’s been acting strangely.
It will print a job – maybe two – and then refuse to print more, giving me an error like “this printer doesn’t seem to be connected,” or something like that. I have to reboot to get it to reset and print another job. Yes, I did try reconnecting the printer cable, no dice. It will also print out an extra empty page at the end of every print job, and every time I reconnect it to its power source, it prints out a test page. (Weird?)
Is there some patch available that I could get that would fix this, or is it simply a problem with the printer itself?
Sorry, I think I got those links messed up a bit.
